CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Universidad del Norte, the Universidad de La Sabana and Pearson Longman are pleased to announce the 2010 Content & Language Integrated Learning Symposium (previously Content-Based Learning & Instruction Symposium) to be held at Universidad de La Sabana campus September 24-25. This year’s topic will be:

Addressing Challenges of the 21st Century School

Presentations and academic activities will concentrate on experiences or research related to the following main topics:

■ Research in addressing CLIL challenges.
■ Pedagogical change in CLIL.
■ Reflective CLIL practice.
■ Innovative CLIL solutions.
■ Curriculum development.

All content presented should be directly related to CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). Content can be appropriate for any and all levels, from preschool through university and adult-level learning environments, and from any public or private institutions. Content can also be appropriate for face-to-face or virtual learning.
