Type of Presentation Descriptions The symposium is looking for a variety of presentations, which include: ■ Awareness session (50 min) One or more presenters address the audience on relevant topic. Content should provide specific implementation ideas. ■ Research Report (50 min) One or more presenters share their original research on relevant topic. ■ Workshop (50 min) One or more presenters conduct a hands-on workshop to allow participants to experience implementation. Workshop should allow time for participants to debrief and provide feedback. ■ Poster Session This is an informal showcase of the presenter’s implementation of a lesson, strategy, method, etc. related to symposium content. Posters will be displayed allowing attendees to informally view content and ask questions in the extended break on day 2. ■ Hot topics( 20 mins)Similar in content to a Research Report but shorter. It is an oral summary with occasional reference to notes or texts, that discusses the presenter's in relation to theory/and or research.
